2025 Battle of Britain Parade

After many weeks of clear blue skies, the heavens opened on Sunday during the Battle of Britain commemoration. The sunshine returned on Monday. It was just an unfortunate interlude.
The low ceiling that morning cast doubt on the scheduled flypast of the F-18s. But as the rain eased and the clouds lifted, at 1307 hrs, the Hornets swept in from the west, flashed across to the east, and then returned to Comox. If you blinked, you missed them!
The commemoration was a success despite the light rain, and the Air Cadets' limited drill time following their summer stand-down.
Al Snowie prepared a very comprehensive program that truly captured the spirit of the occasion. Congratulations to all involved.
