BATTLE OF BRITIAN MEMORIAL FUND
The Battle of Britain Memorial Fund is in dedication to the “Few” of the crucial Battle of Britain and to the 17,000 Canadian airman who made the ultimate sacrifice to achieve victory.​
The purposes of the Society are:
1. To provide funds to ensure the continuation and enhancement of the Battle of Britain Memorial Ceremony and Parade, held annually at the Air Forces’ Garden of Remembrance in Stanley Park Vancouver, B.C.
2. To memorialize and advertise the contribution that Allied Air Forces made to the winning of World War II, and thus to the safeguarding of Canadian values, freedoms & democratic institutions; and
3. To focus Canadian youth on the importance of Air Power & the Aerospace industry, and to showcase the Royal Canadian Air Cadet movement; and
4. To educate and increase awareness of the importance of Canada's Armed Forces by showcasing military bands, Air Cadet Squadrons, Navy facilities, coordinating Air Force flyovers, placarding sites of Air Force history, and providing a forum to propagate Air Force history and future objectives.
